I know now that I get my sarcasm and dry humor from my mother.

I was just in the kitchen fixing a snack (I eat about 5 small meals a day rather than 3 big meals - I really prefer it), and I decided on a handful of Sun Chips, a dill pickle spear, and a piece of cheddar cheese. I placed the chips on my plate and went to the fridge to get the cheese and pickle.

Mom: *entering kitchen* Thank you! *taking a chip*
Me: You're so welcome. :p *places pickle on plate, returns pickles to fridge*
Mom: *walking by again* Thank you again!
Me: Hey! The bag is right there!
Mom: Sorry. *does something at the sink, walks by my plate again* Thank you! *takes a handful of chips*
Me: Hey! You've taken like half my chips!
Mom: *leaving the kitchen* The bag is right there!

*sigh* Ladies and gentlemen, my mother.

Sounds like something my mom would do...or my dad...and I love pickles :p

My old supervisor tried that one time, and lived to regret it. I had a bag of chips on my desk, when she came over to check on the status of something I was working on. As she walked away, she snagged one of my chips, and put it in her mouth.

Apparently she didn't notice that they were the "red hot" kind. I heard her choking and gagging about 2 seconds later.
