oops...wrong store (coupon)

So i boo-booed today. A lady handed me a coupon cut out of the newspaper for 25% off your purchase. So i scan it, the machine doesn't recognize it. I figure, oh well, just a problem with these new registers, i'll just take off the 25% manually. So i finish the transaction and she goes on her merry way when i look down and realize she'd given me a coupon for another department store. I have no idea if it was a genuine mistake on her part, or if she was trying to be an SC, but because i had a brain fart, she got to use the coupon anyway.:ashamed:

Meh, at least you realized it instead of having someone else realize it and call you on it. (like say management)

At least it's not something that was super super bad. You just gave the customer the benefit of the doubt. :D
