Heh...A lady had had her doctor call in a new script to one of the other stores in my chain yesterday, but she wanted it filled at ours. She also wanted to transfer all of her scripts from a competitor to us.
Well, in the process of retrieving the script from the other store's database, the computer crashed and totally ate her prescription! :eek: It wasn't in her profile at the other store anymore, so I couldn't re-retrieve it.
As suavely as I could, I asked her who the doctor was on that script, told her it would be about 20 minutes to fill ,and once she was out of earshot, I called the doctor's office and had them call me in a fresh one.
The patient was none the wiser, though. Whew!
