What I want to know is how/why Amazon feels that ethnicity, income, sexual preference, etc could be at all useful to browsers of wish lists. I want something, I add it to my list. No explanation needed.

And I see the news used "hacker" incorrectly (again)...

I know! I can understand asking about income, but how exactly does knowing that I prefer to sleep on my right side, knees slightly bent (or similarly personal information) pertain to the items I'd put on a Wish List?

And I get my hackles up about the "hacker" thing, too...as always, the "bad apple" phenomenon messes things up for the rest of us. :rolleyes:
