Role Reversal

I went grocery shopping today and was in the cerel aisle when an employee came to the aisle. He looked at the shelves for a short while then turned to me and asked, "Do you know where the rice cakes are?" I told him where I thought they were (chip aisle somewhere near the popcorn). He thanked me and left.

When I was checked out I walked out the door to go to my car and he was outside with a broom and one of those trash pickers. He reconinzed me, shook my hand and thanked me.

I was just highly amused by the whole thing.

Maybe he's new, or he just always worked in one department.

I know of people at my store who've worked there longer than my four+ years and they still don't know where some things can be found.

And let's not mention the customers who are there three times a day. :rolleyes:
