We've got a report button on each post. We still get people calling each other out in public over issues. Please, if you do feel that someone needs calling out over something offensive, hit the report button.
We know that some people feel that sometimes it's too small a complaint to worry the mods with, but we find it more troublesome to have to break up fights. We won't always agree with your assessment, since we have a wide and diverse membership, and we do try to have thicker skins from time to time whilst taking things into account, but we do see every reported post and ponder the situation.
Reporting a post will alert all moderators to the fact that there is a potential problem. We will act with reasonable speed in most cases (time zones permitting).
Please, let us handle it. It's what we're here for.
