A customer was filling out the standard contact us form on our website, but instead of clicking the Send button, they printed it out and mailed it to us. Have contact us forms suddenly become very difficult to use?

It's possible that they were getting "errors" with the send button. That has happen to me a few times. However, I won't spend some money on postage just to mail it

I've actually had to suggest that to some users.
Most forms have data validation checks. If a check is failed, usually a window pops up informing what was missed (forgot an email address, letters in a phone number). If you don't see the popup window, you're stuck, and can't submit a form.
With full permission from admissions, and after an hour trying to find this guy's very well hidden popup blocker, I had him print off his application, and send it in.
That COULD have happened in your case, but I'm more likely to blame techophobic idjitism.

There is no data validation, I've tested it out myself. The printout had everything filled out properly. The only requirements are name and email address, and even then there is no validation. Whatever happened, all of us got a laugh from it.

He probably had trouble seeing it, once his screen was almost completely covered with White-Out.

My customers, for some reason, refuse to use our contact form half the time. WTF?? It is quick & easy & saves you the energy of having to put your info in the first time. Of course, most of the time, they just put "Computer don't work. Fix please." They don't give me ANY info or anything!! That's why we have contact forms, morons! So you can INPUT your info & we can FIX your problem for you. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
