Extra work

Since classes started again I'm no longer working on Wednesday mornings (which is our busiest time of the week). My replacement is overwhelmed and said that it's too busy and there should be two people working that shift. My boss said that I haven't complained and I manage to get everything done, so he's denied the request.

So my question is this: since this person claims I do the work of two people, do I have a case for requesting double the pay? :D

A raise, possibly. But the first question, and it needs an honest answer: is this a case of you being amazing, or her being inexperienced, or her being incompetent?

Probably her inexperience. Until she came along nobody had trouble with that shift.

Inexperience can be dealt with. You still probably have a case for a raise, if you haven't seen one recently.
