So just as I come back to Canada, I find our apartment block has finally sold out and the strata counsil is forming.

K comes back from the first meeting 3 hours overdue....

the new owners of the apartment block are suing the old owner because he has stolen over 35 GRAND and done all sorts of illegal things!

K has somehow been elected to the strata counsil and now has a weekly 2 hour meeting with the other members of the board discussing all of the items they have to take to the lawyer. I would give you more details but.... the walls have ears if you know what I mean

since a notice board has gone up the board members have all had gum put in their locks (one of the members has had it done three times!) and the notice board has been damaged with a big NO scratched into the notice that was posted

the old owner that we are suing sold two of the units to his daughter.... his brother is one of the main people who has told us all of the illegal things he has been doing.... its like a soap opera around here

Ive had people banging on the door at ALL hours, K had barely left for work and I was doing some yoga and this person practially bangs the door off its hinges. When I answer she starts bitching about the air con in the hallway and how come its so hot....

its about 25 degrees here and the hall is set at 24

as our door looks directly at the notice board and entrance door I have been peeping out every 10 minutes or so trying to catch the immature morons who think that gumming a lock and damaging our shared property is resonable!

talk about days of our lives!

:jawdrop: So...uh....Apartment Block Tango, anyone? :D

Oh, hey, I know! You can buy a motion-activated camera and point it at the notice board and it'll take a photo/short film reel of whoever stops at it. That way you can catch the bugger redhanded and the new Owner's lawyer can take it to the police for damaging private property.
