And we think it might be an ex-coworker and former friend. Basically long story short our night manager who lived on property was let go. She threw a major fit and basically guilt tripped old owner into giving her moving bonus and new owner giving her a two week free room stay. What does she do with that money? She buys an RV but all the nearby RV parks are booked up for the next six months at the least. She got permission to park outside the back of the hotel for another week.
Now due to our town having a low crime rate we feel safe leaving back windows open to air out nasty odors. Which we did with a bottom floor room, the next day though the manager discovered someone had been in there, used the shower and the bed. Nothing was stolen. This coincidently comes the day after ex-coworker complained to our manager that there not enough water in the RV for a shower. It also seems suspicious because I have worked here over a year and there has never been a break-in.
I find myself hoping it was just a case of some transient desperate for a place to sleep because at least you understand their motives. But if it was ex-coworker taking advantage of people who have been giving her way more than she deserves I'm going to lose that last lingering shred of respect I have left for her. We used to be friends until she started flipping out.
