Not sure where this should be filed but here you go anyway.....

So my mother and I are about to move to another town and we went to our bank to do the change of address thing. This was about a week ago. Today I get no less than EIGHT letters from the bank confirming our address change and thanking us for our business, etc.

4 are addressed to Mom alone.
1 is addressed to "Mom and Cyan".
3 are addressed to "Cyan and Mom."

My logic says they would send one letter for each account we have, which should only be 4: two savings and two checkings. Or they should have sent only 2 letters, one for each of us. OR it's because all 4 accounts are sort of joint accounts so money can be transferred if need be.

Therefore, bank wasted $1.74 in postage for sending 6 extra letters IMO. (a bulk rate I guess)

Trying to figure it out is really giving me a headache so I'll stop :(

Damn. Maybe contact your bank and request that they only send a max of 4 letters for the accounts. Or have 2 accounts per letter sent or something like that.
