*not the biggest issue I've had to deal with, but since this particular issue has been getting me down, I just needed to get it off my chest*
My birthday is coming up next week, I forgot to ask for that day off from the library, got scheduled to work that night, and because I'm at my office assistant job in the morning, this leaves me with just a few hours to do anything fun. So my mom and I had made plans to go to lunch that day, but apparently my sister came up with the idea of going up to our cabin in northern arizona for a few days next week (because her husband's got a few days off from his job), and my mom agreed to go, forgetting that she'd already made plans with me. Which I'm kind of unhappy about, because I was looking forward to getting to do at least something "fun" on my birthday, and having to rely on the bus system for transport doesn't give me a lot of options for making plans on my own. (not that I expect the world to revolve around me on my birthday, just that I'm getting really sick of family members changing plans on me, and of my library schedule getting in the way of anything "fun")
