My boys beat the Steelers today 28-20 It wasnt pretty but they captilatized on a few Turnovers and Big Ben was still rusty. Kevin Kaesviharn played a great game too the game clinching interception + a forced fumble

I saw that game and it was pretty good. Big Ben looks like he should have stayed in the hospital.

I'm sorry but when you come up against my team, the Ravens, you wont be making this thread :D

Was it a good game-other that Cincy winning, I mean? Sorry, but hubby and I are Steelers fans back from the days of Terry Bradshaw.

I think the accident did more damage to Ben than they are willing to admit. If you look at his face, he is either still swollen, or they had to rebuild his jaw. His face looks much rounder than it did at the end of last season. I can imagine that takes alot of a person. Hopefully he will get it back next week.

We saw the Indy game and then saw Eli get flattened. He is not going to be as good as big brother, he doesn't think yet. He'll be good, just not as good as Peyton.

Did anyone else see yet that Chris Simms' spleen was REMOVED yesterday?!?!? Apparently he took several hard hits from Carolina and they tore him up. I hate to see anyone have to have surgery, but where the hell was his protection?

lol, sportsmom. If you watch football, you should know protection don't exist in tampa. That where all the QB go to learn how to run like hell.

Well I knew they sucked, I just didn't know they sucked quite that bad. We don't get to see a lot of Buc's games up here, mostly Indy, Chicago and Detroit.

Hubby hates Gruden, too. He's from this area, but for some reason hubby just can't stnd the guy. He tends to make fun of Gruden's visors, too. Funny stuff.

I hate to see anyone hurt badly, but that was one of those things that is not funny, yet hilarious at the same time.

Don't feel bad, most of the fans down here don't care for Gruden either. But the lack of protection wasn't just his problem, that goes back all the way to orange jersey days.

If you looked up ex-QB of the Bucs, you'll find they went to another team and started to smell like roses. Must be all that running for their life when they were in tampa.

It was sloppy. It looked like the Steelers were gonna blow us out early. They drove the ball 80 yds for a td then intercepted Palmer and drove to the 6 yd befopre ben threw an int the Bengals scored on that drive led 14-7 at half then in the 3rd qtr the Steelers took the lead and our offense couldnt do anything but Colclough muffed a punt the Bengals picked it up and housh caught a td pass on the next play 2 plays later Haynes Fumbled next play Housh makes a juggling catch in the end zone,. Steelers then drive down get a FG stop us get the ball back drive down to the 16 with 22 sec left then Kaesviharn picks ben game over.

Odell Thurman (Bengals suspended LB) was caught drunk driving last night Henry was in the car with him but wasnt cited . It never ends up here:(
