OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!

I was eating chips the other day and all of a sudden one went the wrong way and crunch snap OW..damn thing got caught in between my gum and tooth, cut down deep, got wedged and broke off....now I have a piece STUCK in there and I can't get it out because of how far back the tooth is! I thought it would eventually come out with brushing, but it's only go wedged even deeper! The whole thing is swollen :cry:

I've been icing it, and tried getting at it with a tooth pick but I just can't get it!...it HUUUURTS...and I know it means a trip to the dentist! YOWEEE....I HATE the dentist...and I just hope that the gums don't get infected...I would like to keep my tooth!

Belive me, I know the pain. I have a hole in my tooth that goes straight to my gum. I once took a bite of a sandwich that had melted cheese. Guess where that squirted into. Can't count the amunt of times I took a bte of a chip that ir broke up with a shard there. I've found that useing your tongue, you can so slowly move it back and forth, get it out.
