On the one hand, I have a friend I've known for over 20 years who has virtually the same name (though slightly different spelling) as one of our Olympic athletes. So naturally, when I tuned in and saw the Olympian on the tv, I sent a text to my friend to offer her luck in the games and urging her to "bring home the gold." Of course, my friend is my age and has an office job in a major city, and is by no means an Olympic athlete, but it is still funny.
On the other hand, I have a friend I've known for about 20 years who happens to also be a pornstar. Not necessarily one of the more famous ones, but I stumbled across one or two message boards about her, and just can't stop laughing about some of the things these guys say. Especially since I KNOW her and what a goofball she is. One of the funnier things is that in many of the porns she's been in, she's been billed as a MILF.....despite the fact that she has never had children! I know, I know....what does reality have to do with porn? Just saying.
So, which is funnier? Having a friend with an Olympic athlete's name, or having a friend who is a pornstar that guys will excitedly discuss? It boggles my puny little mind!
