Emotionally that is, just a minute ago.

I was listening to a song when these two particular verses stuck out.

See the structure of my pride
Wasn't easy to build it away from this

and

To convince yourself it's over?

For some reason, this brought me back to my college days where I got heavily taken advantage of by a particular girl, It nearly destroyed me and did destroy 75% of who and what I was, I never fully recovered from it, so hearing those two verses must have hit a subconcious nerve, as I started in a full sobbing episode for about 5 minutes. Dunno why that happened, as the college stuff happened 4 years ago and I thought that I was over it and had locked it away ina deep dark corner in my mind.

The first time I heard Hinder's "Lips of An Angel" I got so angry I threw a glass vase at the wall.

Alas, I am relegated to being just an Evil Minion thanks to those scurrilous Fluffites!

But I could be one of those super duper evil minions that's almost like a stand in for an Evil King :lol:

Some songs have a habit of sneaking up on me like that too. *hugs*

I can't stand the country song "If Heaven" because it came out shortly after a close friend of mine was killed in a freak accident. It still makes me angry enough to nearly break the radio trying to change the station.

Anywho, hope you felt better after the little sobfest. Trust me, those are good for you every now and then. ;)
