so....today I went to my parents house. Did some work, picked up my friend's christmas/birthday present (can't tell what it is...I think hes a lurker...you know who you are wuggy ;) ), talk with my mom and hang out with her in general. Now I've been down on my luck for a few months now...what with looosing my job and NOTHING on the horizon for anything new.

So my little inner voice tells me to buy this certain $5 ticket. I stop at my usual store on the way out of town from my parents house, and buy the only $5 ticket they have....nothing.

So I head home, stopping by the bank on the way home to drop off the money I earned from my parents into my bank account and leave a little for myself to buy dinner and snackage for gaming tonight...but that little inner voice bugs me again to buy that $5 ticket....so I buy 2 plus my money order for my rent, and my snackage.

I scratch off the first ticket and see that (out of 15 possible chances to win) I won....$100...I think "oh cool..." then I continue scratching....thinking my luck can't be THAT good...and off of that first ticket...I win...

a grand total of $500!!!!!!!!!!!! :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

I started hyperventalating and shaking...the manager only hear me going oh my god continually....

I like that little inner voice...I know i was pushing my luck because the second ticket won a free ticket which won me $5 more....which won me $25 more dollars...I KNEW at that point I had to stop and leave with my winning before my luck ran up completely....

but NOT before buying 5 chances at the $270million lottery jackpot...who knows...

I may wake up and be rid of my ancients awful neighbors forever!

Be frugal about it still; you'd be amazed how happy a 10 lbs bag of potatoes makes you after you've only ever had the instant stuff (it pales in comparison to making your own real mashed tatters).

And avoid the Raman. You're going to turn into that stuff.

You live in the Tri-Cities area, so ya gotta have a Sam's Club card, yes? (Please say yes) GO BUY FRUIT AND MEAT! And Veggies.

Dammit, why am I on a veggie kick? And I really want a chili dog something awful.
