A few weeks ago, I posted that I was having a friend come visit, that I haven't seen in about 20 years. I just wanted to let you all know that the visit went perfectly.
There was no awkwardness at all. It was just like I saw her yesterday, not 20 years ago.
While she was here, we did the tourist thing: Went to St. Augustine, did the ghost tour thing, looked at all the old buildings and things, went to the light house. Then to Daytona Beach. Em went with us. They got along very well.
No Disney World or other theme parks. She wanted to see the real Florida. She was really excited when she saw some real alligators.
The time went by way too fast. It was over in the blink of an eye. Very sad to see her go. But now its my turn to head up to Montana, where she lives. I'll have to wait until next year to do that.
