Holy man, this city is huge!

I'm staying in a swaaaank hotel (the Crowne Plaza) and I'm here till Wednesday. I am way, way, WAY excited! Even the flights went well! And I flew alllll by myself for the very first time. Yay me!

I'm so cool. :D

COME VISIT MEEEEEEE!!

(Sure, you'll have to drive west a helluva long while, but hey! You'll get to see all our pretty cornfields! And our cornfields! And, uh....our cornfields! )

(I can't drive Chicago myself. I'd get lost in .2 seconds, and knowing my luck, it'd be down one of the worst parts to get lost in. )

Anyways, hope you have fun. Be sure to hit the Shedd Aquarium - it kicks ass! :D

Aw, I totally would, Amethyst... If I had a car. :P But yeah, I'd get uber-lost here too, so I'm just subwaying everywhere. Seriously, wtf at all the one-way streets. How do you get around at ALL?! Yikes!

The CTA buses are pretty easy to get around on, too. Just find out which one goes to the Museum campus and you're within walking distance of the Shedd, Field, Adler, Museum of Science and Industry and Navy Pier.

BTW, pick up some Garrett's popcorn. Get the mini-mix for a little walking around snack. My friends and I always pick up a mini-mix for the city and bring home a gallon to have later. :D

Yeah it does! Also hit up the Sears Tower, Buckingham Fountain, the Pier. Oh, and the train station's (Union?) architecture is simply amazing. Plus, there are trains to watch :D F40s are OK, but nothing beats an E unit for noise :p
