My mother called me today... her doctor just told her that she will need radiation treatment as well as chemo. They expect that there will be scaring, sense it is being aimed at her shoulder area she will lose mobility in her shoulder, there is a high chance of lymptytis (I think that's what it's called) and a slight chance of damage to the lungs... if she doesn't have the radiation treatment her chances of having recurrence rises from right around 5% to 20%. So yeah, this is a hard time for her so if you all keep her in your thoughts and prayers it would be appreciated.

she needs all the prayers she can get... I just did the figuring on it... this means her reconstructive surgery will be pushed back at least 2 months
