On how to talk my husband into letting me adopt this gorgeous 1 year old kitty in need of a good home.
She's free, desexed and goes to the toilet in the toilet! She very good with dogs, she lives with 5 of them at the moment, she's an indoor kitty.
I really want her, he was willing to buy a rabbit, why not a free cat.
So, what can I say to sweet talk him into this.
He does like cats.

There shouldn't be any "think about it" involved. I'd snatch that cat right up.
How does she do it without falling in?
I'm jealous. My stupid cats drink out of the toilet.

Pair of nutcrackers, ask him to let you get the kitty, then hold up the nut crackers "Or Else"
Oooh, I like that idea! I always knew there was something I admired about you...

The absoloute way to get a bloke to do what you want is to threaten harm upon his jewels.

Well since I don't like my jewels threatened, I'll say the other way to get a man to do whatever you want.
Tell him while you are "sans apparel"

While I am a fan of the direct approach, I find the idea of physically threatening him counterproductive. If MY wife wanted something and threatened to clock me if she didn't get it, I don't think I would be all that persuaded. Matter of fact, I might get downright mad about it.
I was going to say to just ask him, but it seems you have done that. If he is still unsure, you need to explain to him why you want this cat, AND make him believe that you are going to take care of said cat. If you already have a bunch of pets, he may be unwilling to take in yet another stray.
I know when I was with The Brit, she once asked, "Can we get a lizard?" I told her SHE could get a lizard, and it would be HER lizard, to take care of, etc. I don't like or dislike lizards....to me they are simply unfinished wallets.

Gotta agree with Jester. "Give me this or I hurt you" is not a healthy relationship. I would leave the Mr Fang if he did that.
Well probably not. But we'd have words. And he would NOT be getting what he'd asked for.
Ask yourself - if he wanted it and you didn't, how would you like HIM to approach convincing you? Then do that.

oh no its not
its to promise ...um...love and attention on his jewels:D
*gasp* did I just say that outloud!:p

Well, my post was in jest, though I can see why it couldn't be seen as such.

I won't threaten bodily harm on him. We webt to the pet store and he was willing to get a rabbit, which we would have to pay for, no to mention get a hutch for it, I think this cat is so much better.
Once we get her home, he'll be all over the cat, he loves them.
At the moment we have a dog and a budgie.

Maybe he doesn't want a cat is because of the budgie.
The one thing with rabbits is they are chewers. They have to chew on things to wear down their teeth which keep growing all their lives. Many rabbits will chew on anything (like some dogs and a few cats), like power cords, clothing, shoes, etc. You can train them from it, but it can be difficult. Also, I've been bitten by a rabbit and a cat, and I'd rather be bitten by a cat.
