I have nothing at stake in this game. Which is incredibly odd, for this Pats fan.

So I'm watching it for the hell of it, rather than stressing out over who is going to win.

Oooo...homemade pizza.

Do you make the crust yourself? What recipe do you use?

Lil Bunny

The Sauce:
Pizza Sauce (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Pizza-Sauce-III/Detail.aspx) Make sure you click on the review by Donnie to get the extras I add (sugar for example)

The Dough:
Bread machine dough (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Pizza-Crust-for-the-Bread-Machine-II/Detail.aspx) Which I love because it has lemon juice in it!

The actual Recipe:
Hamburger pizza (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Basic-Beef-Pizza/Detail.aspx) I used sausage mainly because we're out of hamburger. I did add a touch of hot sauce when I was cooking it to give it more of a "zing". We also do a mix of cheeses to give it a different flavor.

It's pretty easy honestly. The longest is waiting for the dough to do it's thing in the bread maker and the hardest is rolling it out since I don't have a darned rolling pin!

Enjoy!! :D

Rooting for the Cardinals tonight could be a friendship-breaker. My one friend is already on thin ice tonight for saying she likes the way the Cardinals play.

I didn't care too much about it, really, but my friend who posted the party is from Pittsburgh and a die hard Steelers fan - it was much more fun to watch her nearly have a heart attack 5 times during the last few minutes of the game.

My aunts were going crazy from what I hear.

My grandmother ate an entire box of candy right after the Cardinals last score.

If my grandfather had still been alive, he probably would have had a heart attack.

My mom started playing with the dog. (poor dog gets no love when I'm not home unless the Steelers are doing bad)

You realize, of course, that you are just bitter from my kickng your girly man ass in gantasy footballk riht?

NOTE: All typos are due to copious amounts of Coronas and shots of redheaded sluts (aka The Worst Girlfriend I Ever Dated) that my friend Photo Dude forced down my throat, so I am completely and totally innocent of any actions I may actually perform.

NOTe: YOu have to admit, for a drunk fucker, I am typking pretty damn well, don;'t you think?

GD, come drink with me in Key West.

I'll show you girly. (You.)

I'll show you lame. (You.)

I'll show you injuries. (You the next day.)

I'll show you hardnosed smashmouth competition (me vs. beer).

You will remember none of it, other than you waking up in a pool of your own puke and blood on cold, unforgiving tile.

Because, of course, my team (the Raiders) may suck. And my hometown team (the Cardinals) may have lost a very close Super Bowl. But when it comes to drinking, I will make you cry out in a soprano voice for your mama, as you wish it would all go away. Because, son, this is what I do. This is what I am. I went to Arizona fucking State. The #1 party school in the nation for the last 20 years or so. I live in Key West. The party capital of the globe. You think you can hang with me? Bring it on.

And bring a straw, a bib, and your mama. By the time I'm done with you , you'll be begging for all three.

(Yes. I am evil. Why ever do you ask?)

Girly? No. Besides, I know plenty of girls who could drink most people under the table so that's not a diss. Lame? Maybe. At least I beer game like a champ. And I don't black out, I remember all the goodness (and not so goodness). And I always hit the toilet if I puke so I can't wake up in it.

Every college claims to be the #1 party school btw.

I went to bed at halftime, because I do have to work early today. It looks like I missed a good one, but at least I got to see Jester posting drunkenly. :D

I thought a lot of the commercials I saw were mean-spirited, especially the one with the talking flowers in the box insulting their recipient. But I liked the Cheetos commercial with the birds--talk about an annoying cell-phoner getting her comeuppance!

My favorite of the commercials I saw was the Diet Pepsi Max one, with all the guys getting their brains bashed in and shrugging it off with an "I'm good!"

First off, my apologies for my earlier drunken postings. Not for what I said so much as for how horribly they were typed and how rambling some of them were.

I am, to be sure, rather embarrassed. No, not for being drunk. Not even for rambling. But when do I ever make so many damn typos?

Kurt Warner with a key fumble in the last seconds.

Actually, according to the rules, that was an incomplete pass and a bad non-call. And a worse non-review. Even if you don't think that was an incomplete pass, that is a play that should have been reviewed by the booth, and the fact that it wasn't is bordering on criminal by the officials.

That being said, I DO believe in what Charles Barkley (a fellow drunk) once said. To wit: You have to play above the referees, and not let it come down to them deciding the outcome. The Cardinals, sadly, did not do this.

So congratulations to the Steelers and their fans. Even you, Green Day, you girly man!

The good things about all this? The team that won is not a team I hate. The Donkeys, for example, did not win. Also, perhaps now the Cardinals, woeful forever, have turned the corner and become a respectable franchise. Whether people and other teams actually respect them is dependent upon them. They need to keep doing what they did to get here. I may not be a diehard Cards fan (god help my Raiders, as no one else can), but I AM a Zonie, so I will be rooting for them to do well. And, of course, this may benefit me in other ways, as two of the girls I've been flirting with are Steeler fans, and should be in a very good mood for a while. :eyewaggle:

The Cardinals lost because Jester was rooting for them.

And again, blow me. I actually had a guy in the bar I was at blame me for the loss, as I was waving around the Arizona flag "too early," according to him. Even though I had been waving it many times throughout the game.

Every college claims to be the #1 party school btw.

Yes they do. The difference is that not only can ASU lay claim to it, but on the lists that rank suck things, ASU is always represented, and is listed as #1 more often than any other. So, yeah, we're drunks. Yay team!

I thought a lot of the commercials I saw were mean-spirited, especially the one with the talking flowers in the box insulting their recipient.

Actually, Photo Dude and I thought that one was hilarious!

Aw, Jester, I'm ashamed of you. You are one of those people who thought it was an incomplete pass too? Yea, I agree, it should have been reviewed without a doubt. Only thing is it never would have been overturned. For it to be an incomplete pass, you need to be moving the ball forward while maintaining control of the ball. Warner lost control of the ball before bringing it forward making it a fumble. His resulting arm motion hit/swatted the ball, but he never had control of it. That's why it was ruled a fumble instead of an incomplete pass.

Jester
02-02-2009, 01:41 PM
GD, we can sit here and disect the play, but we are going to disagree.

I am glad to see that you DO agree with me (and Warner, and the talking heads) that that really should have been reviewed. Whatever you think happened (and you and I think differently on this), the fact is it's the Super Bowl, it's a four point game, it's five seconds to go, and the team is moving the ball and potentially could score.

While I didn't disagree too much with the refs in the game, that non-review was criminal. The worst non-call of the year, and the third worst ref blunder of the year. The only screwups worse would be the bizarre Polamalu touchdown-not a touchdown ending to the SD-Pitt game and, of course, the worst call of the year, the non-fumble that really was a fumble at the end of the SD-Denver game in Week 2. Last night's non-review was bad because it may have affected the end of the game; the SD-Denver blown call was worse, because it DID affect the game result.

Greenday

the worst call of the year, the non-fumble that really was a fumble at the end of the SD-Denver game in Week 2.

That call was so bad the ref even admitted to blowing it immediately after he made the wrong call.

Jester
02-02-2009, 05:27 PM
Yeah, I have yet to find anyone familiar with it who would argue that it wasn't the worst ref screwup of the year.

Very possibly one of the worst of all time.

Well I didn't really care for either team so I went with the underdogs. Go Cards!

Plus I was in a room full of Cards fans so I'n sure you can imagine the reaction to that interception at the end of the 2nd quarter! I've never seen so many people yell "WHAT THE HELL!! NOOOOOO!!!!" at the tv before. That was painful to watch, but was still AWESOME!!

Best quote from the party: "Everyone hush the commercials are on!"
