Wile E. Coyote (Super Genius).

All he wanted to do was have some dinner but no, everyone has to cheer for the road runner.

Nope, they'd rather see a coyote starve to death as opposed to a quick death to the road runner so he can eat.

I always hated the Road Runner.
I always cheered for Wile E.

Wile E. Coyote was a genius with his plans, it's just that they were poorly executed. Love his cartoons!

It wasn't the execution that was a problem, it was shoddy tools. *cough*Acme*Cough*

I always cheered for the coyote

I also cheer for the dragon over the knight, and the shark in Jaws

If the coyote had all that money for his failed Acme products and inventions, he certainly had enough to go out and buy a rotisserie chicken. :p

Lol. One of my favs though. Nothing beats classic cartoons.

Thank you! You'd think if Acme could get him his rocket-powered roller skates in 5 minutes, a pizza joint could get him some chicken wings in 20.

Elmer Fudd. He just wanted that waskly wabbit.

Idk, since we were on the topic of those such characters.

I'd also say Beavis and Butthead. They were just two moronic teenagers, what did people really expect out of them?

But were pizza delivery joints that prevalent in the '50's? And especially in the middle of the desert?

Wile E. Coyote (Super Genius).

"I love how that sounds... Wile E. Coyote, SUUUPER genius."

Anyone else remember their guest appearance on "Night Court"?

The Road Runner's smug "beep" always got on my nerves.

I still hope that one day, some day, Wile E. Coyote can get him. I seriously do.

Another misunderstood character? Tom. Poor guy is asleep and gets harassed by Jerry half the time. I can't blame him for wanting to strangle the daylights out of the obnoxious little rodent.

I refused to watch Tom and Jerry as a kid because I felt bad for Tom

Why didn't he get his Road Runner stuff through amazon.com? Acme was the cartoon version of Wal-Mart...lol.

I recall a similar thread about this on another board, and someone pointed out a BB cartoon starring him, wherein it's apparently shown that he does have his food delivered.

When I was a boy, pumping trucks full of diesel, 80% of the truckers had stickers by the tank caps with Wile E. giving the Runner a nice, warm, tight handshake around the neck.
The speech baloon said:

"Beep Beep yur ass! I said #2 diesel!"

(#1 diesel is a lighter (lower boiling/congealing temperature) & more expensive grade sometimes used in cold weather)

Wile E has nothing on the Trix Rabbit.

Poor, poor bastard. My god. He didn't even want to kill something and eat it. He just wanted some farking cereal. But he was always tormented by miserable, obnoxious children. ;p

Also the same with Lucky the Lucky Charms Leprechaun. Why do kids keep trying to steal HIS lucky charms!??! Leave the man alone and get your own!

He did get his Trix. Once.

It was years ago, but I remember it. As part of some ad campaign, kids were supposed to vote on whether or not the Trix Rabbit should get Trix.

The vote was yes, probably by a very wide margin, and he was gobbling them down in a later commercial.

I just remembered I used to get frustrated when the Roadrunner would get away. Poor Wile E.

We did see a real roadrunner once. Mom said, "Look, you guys! A roadrunner!!" We were asking "Where? Where?" We didn't think to look down at a small brown bird. We were looking for the purple and yellow feathers.

If I remember correctly Wile E. DID catch the Road Runner ONE time. HMMMMM RR got a hold of some growth feed and grew to girarff size. Wile E. grabbed hm by the leg, looked up and held up a sign (???) that said "Now what do I do??"

ETA: got it paritally right. Wile and RR run through a pipe and get smaller, then run back throught the pipe and RR get bigger but not Wile.

but here is a little montage of Wile's pain set to Megadeaths 99 Ways to Die

So how did 'ole Wile do with his lawsuit against Acme, anyway? Only time I liked the Road Runner was in an old SEGA Genesis game because despite being faster he was easier to control (blasted rocket skates).

Thanks to the fan dub, Dragonball Z Abridged I'm starting to feel bad for Krillin. He tries so hard but it just isn't enough to deal with the super villain of the week.

"Hey, I was bitched-slapped through a house! What's your excuse!?"

He did get his Trix. Once.

It was years ago, but I remember it. As part of some ad campaign, kids were supposed to vote on whether or not the Trix Rabbit should get Trix. That was the other big election in 1976 (we're dating ourselves here in a big way:lol:).

The vote was yes, probably by a very wide margin, and he was gobbling them down in a later commercial. And when the kids refused him a refill, he donned his colonial-style (Georgian, to UK readers) tricorn and sighed "Here we go again."
