contract extension - woohoo

hey guys
when i got my new acting job i signed a contract for 6 months. yesterday i was called into the producers office.
now there are only 3 reasons the talent get called in there:
1) firings
2) contract renwels/extensions and
3) to be told you are about to feature in a major story line arc.

i was hoping for 2 or 3 and definitly not 1, but having only been on set a few weeks i thought that 1 was the reason.. till i got in there
the producer told me they were extremly happy with my work, and wanted to offer me a contact extension for 1 year - bring my current contact lengeth to 18 months (yahoo) and that there is something major happening (secrecy forbids me from too much detail) and i will be involved and have a stack of screen time (and a pay rise).

Fantastic, well done Tejas ! When it airs in the UK, you will have to let on to us who you play, and i will have to start watching Neighbours again! Hey, its different when there's someone you "know" in the show, right?

PS. If you get famous enough to get offered a part in panto in England one Christmas (which seems to be par for the course for Neighbours stars), let us know that as well, and we can organise a CS trip to the panto to see you !
