So I did not witness this as I came back from break mere seconds after this guy was at the Front Desk, but I certainly heard about it!

If he hadn't said anything, we probably wouldn't have noticed, at least not for a while. The weather was crap, it was dark, and Sucky Parker strolled straight to the front desk and before Supervisor or CW could even greet him:

Sucky Parker: "I'm not moving my car. I'm not walking through the rain!"

Turns out, he had parked right in front of the entrance to our Spa and was blocking the sign. Um no, you can't park there...but he strolled off to the restaurant. Supervisor was debating calling Security when I got back.

There was no need, though, as Sucky Parker had failed to make reservations at our restaurant, on a Saturday evening during a double-holiday weekend. As Supervisor went to lunch, he overheard Food & Bev Manager talking to Sucky Parker. Apparently Sucky Parker was ranting and raving at F&B Manager, who said "Sir, it's a holiday weekend, we are full, the best I can do is say sorry for the wait."

Sucky Parker saw Supervisor, who smirked at him, and he scowled and stormed out. He then peeled out of our parking lot and sped away into the night.

Obviously some people in your neck of the woods are lazy, not doing their job properly. After all, if this had been in a certain part of Pennsylvania, Argabarga would have that car hooked up and on its way to the impound lot before Mr. "I'll park where I damn well want" found out that the restaurant was full.

Alas, not even St. Arga of Barga is that fast. Arga would probably quote borough regulations on how long he needs to wait before he can hoist Sucky Parker's car.

Not if it's a 'emergency vehicles only' spot. How fast it's gone is how long it takes to take it.:D

Hey, instant karma though! He thought he was going to sit his ass in the restaurant and enjoy a long, leisurely meal, spiced with the knowledge that his car was blocking the spa entrance/sign and "nobody could make him move."

Didn't work out his way, did it?

Makes me wonder why the heck humanity invented rain coats, hats and umbrellas at all?

To keep those of us with wits dry. Everyone else can drown for all the inventors care :p

While he was insuring there was no room to park, Karma was insuring he couldn't eat at the restaurant!
