You've been warned. :)

That's Dazy - I took that picture one of the last days we had her (before she went to her home). I completely forgot I took this until I was looking for some other pictures.

Thank god finkies stay cute for just about their entire lives. :D

Aaaawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!! Cute!!!

Since it's a puppy thread, I took my car for an oil change at the dealer this morning, and then I had to get my alignment checked at Sears, so while I was waiting I went into the puppy store in the mall and there was an itty-bitty Boston terrier. I asked if she could come out to play, and then spent about 20 minutes sitting in the little room on the floor with her sleeping in my lap, her little fuzzy head tucked in my elbow. Too bad I didn't take a pic. But it rained all day and a little warm fuzzy was in order. :)

Here are some pictures of the border collie/irish setter mix I got at the end of May 2007... She died Labor Day weekend while I was out of town :( My brother in law found her when he went to check on the puppies, and she'd gotten out of her collar, where she'd been connected to a lead, tipped over a gas can we thought was empty, and drank the gas :( Her name was Princess, and boy did she act like one!

Thought I'd post the kitties. Sally is sitting in the linen closet. Not sure why, but she likes to curl up on the towels and go to sleep. If that door is ever open, she can't resist the softies. When Baxter was laying on the carpet, I couldn't resist zooming in on him. Not sure what Sally is, but I do know that Baxter is a Maine Coon...my second of that variety. Like most of them, he's constantly getting into trouble, but is very sweet. Sally, who loves to cuddle, tends to get on his nerves at times--in fact, I'm sure he was like "Oh shit, she's coming too" when I adopted them last year :p

Finnish spitz are a great dog, small in size (<20 pounds), great personality, and intelligent (intelligent for a non-herding breed) the only issue is that some are extremely independent - they'd rather give you the paw than to work obedience or spend time with you.

But - they will come to you for affection when they want it they just won't be up your rear all the time. They can be bratty at times, too.

We know a good breeder for them (where we got the mother and who owned the father) - just be sure to socialize them and cuddle them from day one. :)
