TPAM had a "special" weekend this weekend, like the "special" Saturday I had today. :D (And BTW, TPAM should change his signature to what Edward Norton says in this year's "Incredible Hulk": "Don't make me hungry. You won't like me when I'm hungry.")

The person above me had a special Sday today

TPAM had a productive weekend.

CaroPhoenix
10-12-2008, 08:44 PM
TPAM probably didn't have a productive weekend.

crazylegs
10-12-2008, 09:42 PM
TPAM will be going back to work tomorrow

CaroPhoenix
10-12-2008, 11:21 PM
TPAM is incorrect as I only work my retail job on Saturdays. However, I'm a Mommy for the rest of the week, so my job doesn't end.  I'm going insane! :p

BookstoreEscapee
10-13-2008, 12:38 AM
TPAM has told us something that we already knew. :D

CaroPhoenix
10-13-2008, 07:59 PM
TPAM already knew I was a retail slave by Saturday and a Mommy by the rest of the week. :D

crazylegs
10-13-2008, 08:03 PM
TPAM should take the week off and let Mr. Rum be a 'temp'! ;)

The person above me has a good plan.

And the person above him deliberately misinterpreted my last post. ;)

CaroPhoenix
10-14-2008, 11:43 AM
TPAM should know that if I have absolutely no coffee in my system, I deliberately misinterpret everything. :p

TPAT does have a good plan ... any ideas on how to implement it?

crazylegs
10-14-2008, 11:54 AM
TPAM above me should know I *always* have a plan (we'll wrap your leg in plaster and pretend you've broken it. Not that you have, we'll just pretend ;) )

TPAM likes using an apple a day to keep people away!

BookstoreEscapee
10-14-2008, 11:09 PM
Yes, I've got 4 in the kitchen. 3 of them are those huge Red Delicious apples.

TPAM does not want to get on my bad side...

Jack T. Chance
10-14-2008, 11:52 PM
TPAM does not want to get on my bad side...I wouldn't dream of it! ;)

TPAM has appley goodness on hand! :D

TPAM is plotting on how to get the apples away from TPAT. :p

Shangri-laschild
10-15-2008, 12:49 PM
The person above me should know that I believe she has been using that one for a while :)

CaroPhoenix
10-15-2008, 01:00 PM
TPAM is correct that I've had it for a while. Which means TPAT is not observant.

crazylegs
10-15-2008, 01:44 PM
TPAM should know when I'm at home I switch off a little (a lot) I promise I'm more observant at work! ;)

CaroPhoenix
10-15-2008, 03:44 PM
TPAM assures us that he is more observant at work than he is at home. :p

BookstoreEscapee
10-15-2008, 05:22 PM
TPAM always recognizes a dirty mind when she sees one.

[time out] idrinkarum - I really like your sig quote, and it is very appropriate these days. I find it interesting that the person who said it died 18 years ago. I wonder when he actually said it. The more things change, the more they stay the same? [time in]

Shangri-laschild
10-15-2008, 05:39 PM
The person should know that the phrase "it takes one to know one" is very acurate in this case :D

BookstoreEscapee

I...I...uh...TPAM is right.

CaroPhoenix
10-15-2008, 09:25 PM
TPAM likes my sig and so do I. XD The reason I snagged it (from a Childfree LJ community no less) is that I agree with it. When I'm trying to teach my daughter manners and trying to get her to listen to me, other adults are like, "She's only 5! She has a long time to listen to you. Just enjoy her" and other stuff like that.

BookstoreEscapee
10-15-2008, 11:29 PM
TPAM agrees with me that children are much more enjoyable when they learn their manners early.

CaroPhoenix
10-15-2008, 11:36 PM
TPAM is correct that I do agree and I'm still trying to teach my daughter manners. This is how it's going: :headdesk:

The person above him posted the same thing in two threads!!

TPAM is very observant. And yes, I do have a headache from all the head desking. :D

crazylegs
10-16-2008, 12:49 PM

Oh. Wait... ;)

BookstoreEscapee
10-18-2008, 05:47 PM
TPAM is trapped.

Personally I'd be "out of the area"...Bob Dole was at my college way back when ('92) and it was nuts. My friends and I went just to say we were there. Didn't make it very far past the door of the gym (like maybe 15 feet) before the crowd got too thick.

CaroPhoenix
10-19-2008, 09:45 PM
TPAM is correct that I was trapped. Today, I wasn't feeling well so I took a nap.

TPAM has long hair.

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 12:45 PM
The person above me has very short hair

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 12:47 PM
TPAM should note there are several people who I work with who have little/no hair of their own choosing.

The person above me is looking forward to the weather warming up

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 12:53 PM
TPAM likes it being chilly.

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 12:57 PM
The person above me is sort of wrong. I like it when it's just cold enough to wear a hoodie or curl up under a blanket and be warm. Anything colder than that is not allowed (but happens anyway)

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 12:59 PM
TPAM should chat to Canute.

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 01:03 PM
The person above me has me confused...

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 01:05 PM
TPAM should know that Canute drowned whilst attempting to command the sea and prevent the tide from coming in (ties in with you 'not allowed' comment a little earlier)

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 01:07 PM
The person above me should know that my "demanding it stop" is more along the lines of curling up under a huge stack of blankets and glaring at the window.

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 01:09 PM
TPAM has a ferocious glare

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 01:11 PM
The person above me is correct so long as no one is trying to make me laugh as it's hard to keep a straight face

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 01:15 PM
TPAM has a great sense of humour.

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 01:17 PM
The person above me does as well

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 01:22 PM
TPAM should sleep a little more.

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 01:25 PM
The person above me should know that there was an attempt to sleep...it just didn't happen till about 02:30 or so.

CaroPhoenix
11-03-2008, 02:18 PM
TPAM should borrow my daughter. She doesn't go to bed easily, but she does have the aura of sleepiness all about her!

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 04:32 PM
The person above me is willing to lend out her daughter even though she won't know what to do with all the quiet time :)

CaroPhoenix
11-03-2008, 05:16 PM
To TPAM: believe you me, I'd know what to do with all that quiet time. ;)

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 05:21 PM
TPAM would play board games, or another wholesome activity.

:p

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 05:45 PM
The person above me is silly

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 05:49 PM
TPAM is correct, as being normal is boring! :D

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 05:55 PM
The person above me is correct *hands out fuzzy kitten as prize*

crazylegs
11-03-2008, 05:59 PM
TPAM has given me a Kitty! :D:D:D:D

Shangri-laschild
11-03-2008, 06:01 PM
The person above me now needs more kittens *gives them a shed to hide said kittens*

CaroPhoenix

TPAM knows the importance of kitty lovin'. :p

smileyeagle1021

TPAM is not the only one confused...

Fenrus
11-04-2008, 10:34 AM
TPAM is confused, and is being laughed at by me...

kitty lovin'... teehee

Shangri-laschild
11-04-2008, 12:19 PM
The person above me enjoys laughing at confused people :) (well it is fun after all)

CaroPhoenix
11-04-2008, 12:22 PM
TPAM is online at this moment. Hiya!

Shangri-laschild
11-04-2008, 12:32 PM
The person above me is also online :D and is the reveared Popetress

CaroPhoenix
11-04-2008, 05:18 PM
TPAM is correct that I'm the revered Popetress. :D And TPAM is the Grand Poo Bah Sparkly High Priestess of my church.

crazylegs

crazylegs

TPAM hasn't been so for quite a long time (or so it feels)

smileyeagle1021
11-04-2008, 07:14 PM
TPAM has no idea just how right he is... but CS.com does help with one's sanity.

CaroPhoenix
11-04-2008, 09:53 PM
Hahahaha! TPAM actually has sanity! *points and laughs* Ahem ... carry on.

TPAM did vote like a baby stoat (http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/2008/11/vote-vote-vote.html).

Guess what I did (http://mfrost.typepad.com/cute_overload/2008/11/guess-who-just.html).

crazylegs

TPAM is (probably) napping.

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 07:53 AM
TPAM is most likely not napping :D

crazylegs
11-05-2008, 10:17 AM

CaroPhoenix
11-05-2008, 11:36 AM
Hmmm ... I do have some Fettuccine Alfredo (Chicken Helper boxed mix) left over in the fridge ... That's what I'm having for lunch!

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 11:37 AM
The person above me uses Chicken Helper... which means she has better cooking abilities than me (sad but true) :p

crazylegs
11-05-2008, 11:42 AM
TPAM is not a natural cook.

Shangri-laschild
11-05-2008, 12:04 PM

crazylegs
11-05-2008, 12:33 PM
TPAM is mistaken I'm afraid.

Shangri-laschild
11-05-2008, 12:38 PM
The person above me supposedly has a scary voice

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 12:44 PM
TPAM still has what I consider the coolest Avatar on the site... though Fenrus's does compete now :p

crazylegs
11-05-2008, 12:50 PM
TPAM has a literal avatar.

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 12:54 PM
the person above me knows how to flatter :p

crazylegs
11-05-2008, 12:58 PM
TPAM is flattered.

Shangri-laschild
11-05-2008, 12:58 PM
The person above me is a fan of one of the awesomest authors ever.

Damn, beatten to it. The person above me has a colorful icon

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 01:59 PM
TPAM I believe was referring to David Feintuch, which yes, is one of the best sci fi authors EVER (and this is NOT open for debate :p )

Shangri-laschild
11-05-2008, 02:03 PM
The person above me should know I was refering to the author of your signature :-p

Plaidman
11-05-2008, 02:10 PM
TPAM has the best green sunglassess.

Shangri-laschild
11-05-2008, 02:12 PM
The person above me should know that I only had them for a week before they disapeared :(

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 02:18 PM
ah, TBAM did not realize that I was quoting from the second best author... I will have to change my quote then to reflect who the best author is

Shangri-laschild
11-05-2008, 02:20 PM
The person above me should note that I said "one of the awesomest authors ever" which still counts if he's in second place (though I've never actually heard of the author you mentioned before)

Plaidman
11-05-2008, 02:24 PM
TPAM should know that Dreams may come is the only movie to make Plaidman cry.

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 02:25 PM
TPAM should not feel bad... so few people have heard of David Feintuch... but everyone who has heard of him and read his books will agree he's the best.

edit- crap gazumpted

TPAM has good taste in movies.

Shangri-laschild
11-05-2008, 02:32 PM
The person above me should suggest a good book of his to get me started

Plaidman - it made me cry too :)

CaroPhoenix
11-05-2008, 03:01 PM
TPAM and Plaidman have seen a movie I have never seen before.

smileyeagle1021
11-05-2008, 03:49 PM
TPAM really should watch that movie, it is really good, and TPATPAM should look into the Seafort Saga, the first book is Midshipman's Hope, second is Challenger's Hope, and the last one is Children of Hope... I'll have to get back to you on the other books in between on which order they are in.

CaroPhoenix
11-05-2008, 11:51 PM
TPAM is telling me about books that sound like they're seafaring themed? I'm confused and tired and grumpy and being driven insane by a 5-year-old.

smileyeagle1021
11-06-2008, 07:03 PM
TPAM is actually kind of right... the books' main character is Nicholas Seafort, who is a Captain of a United Nations Naval Vessel... except being 200 years in the future, this is an intersteller navy, not a seafaring navy.

CaroPhoenix
11-06-2008, 09:02 PM
TPAM has cleared up my confusion about the books! Thank you! :)

smileyeagle1021
11-07-2008, 10:42 AM
TPAM, I just noticed, is apparently the Popetress of a church right next to the Central Pointe Trax station :p

CaroPhoenix
11-07-2008, 12:14 PM
TPAM should note that I'm actually the Popetress of a church in the middle of nowhere. I have brought the church to the people! Er, I mean, the rocks ... Hehehehe ... someday, I will build my church in the Southern part of Virginia - near Lynchburg and/or Central Virginia where the Church of Spock is (http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.retroweb.com/lynchburg/attractions/the_spock_church.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.retroweb.com/lynchburg/attractions/main.html&h=153&w=200&sz=7&hl=en&start=7&tbnid=dDd_wqH6ZZXMmM:&tbnh=80&tbnw=104&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dstar%2Btrek%2Bchurch%26svnum%3D10%26h l%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26sa%3DN)

smileyeagle1021
11-07-2008, 08:24 PM
TPAM does not realize that the Central Point Trax station is right in the middle of SoSaLa, the (I believe) second most densely populated city in Utah (of course SLC being the most) and is only 21 blocks from Temple Square in Downtown (which is universally regarded as the center of the city).

Also TPAM agrees with me that more people need to start posting in this thread :p

crazylegs
11-07-2008, 08:27 PM
TPAM took a long absence from this thread at one point.

TPAM sounds like a wonderful mother and I hope she gets her little guy back soon.

CaroPhoenix
11-08-2008, 03:45 PM
TPAM is also a wonderful Mom and I wonder if she can teach me how to go into full scary "Momma Bear" mode 'cos I can only get mildly annoyed momma bear mode. :ashamed:

SengaKitty
11-08-2008, 04:03 PM
Both TPAM and TPAH are wonderful mothers, and I wonder if they can teach me what I need to know over the years as my little guy grows and learns to talk back.... Cause I know he will!

Misanthropical
11-08-2008, 04:14 PM
TPAM, should tell her little guy that is not acceptable behavior on his part and will not be tolerated.

idrinkarum, should know it comes when your children need it the most. In my case, it started with protecting my big guy from school officials who had no clue on how to deal with a child with ADHD, who thought screaming at him and doing their best to humiliate him was the way to go.

That was the first time I went all "momma bear" on a group of people, by the end of it they did their best to make sure they didn't do anything that cause me to have to go up there. New hires knew who I was the first time they saw me. Yes, they warned new people about me.

SengaKitty
11-08-2008, 04:18 PM
TPAM should know i've gone mama bear many times already.... it just hasn't worked :(

Misanthropical
11-08-2008, 04:22 PM
TPAM should know that you don't let anyone intimidate you or push you around when you go all "mama bear" or it won't work.

SengaKitty
11-08-2008, 04:23 PM
TPAM should know I never will again...
