Found out Wednesday that one of my favorite nephews has B cell ALL (Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia). He's 26, a great musician, cute wife and a six month old son.

He's looking at 3-4 weeks of in-hospital chemo and probably three years more out-patient.

Crap. I am sending good thoughts. My aunt had leukemia, but kicked butt and recovered.

So sorry to hear. This might interest him as well when he's in hospital (or out of it)

It was a game created by a kid in hospital as part of MAW.

My ebil sister rejoicing. Notice the logo on her smock!
And I didn't get any "Greetings" from Uncle or get to sit with Group W! :(
and I had to buy an electric razor to keep the t*** polished.

Nephew's lymphoblasts have been considerably reduced by the chemo.

Glad to hear about your nephew...I hope he continues to improve.

And yes, we sisters are ebil.

I shave Rugz's head with the dog clippers too, they're much faster!

Glad to hear that the chemo is going well, I hope everything keeps getting better. :)

Glad things are getting better. Prayers for more good stuff to come sent.

Thanks for the good wishes.

Ebil sister was getting long-delayed vengeance, as she grew up a serious and sober soul sandwiched between two jokers: Me and nephew's mom, Loosewheel.

When Da Ebil did something wrong, she'd get punished. L & I wouldn't when we did.

As our mother later confessed: "It's hard to give the little monsters the beatings they deserve when you're laughing yourself sick."

I'm strange in that I cannot watch somebody getting their head shaved

Dalesys, glad to hear that things are getting a little bit better.

I'd suggest the game that I showed you there, which he might even be able to play in between treatment.

Well, he gets some pretty awesome visitors: Blues Jam with Leraine Horstmanshoff (http://youtu.be/_7QUqLiGC6M). And Some Funky Flute (http://youtu.be/pw2zoHXaKk0).
Kis Neutrophil levels are rebuilding after being blasted to nothing, and it looks like he'll get out of inpatient treatment in a week.:)
