If there's a sign that says "Bathroom Broken Do Not Use", maybe you shouldn't use it

  • If there's a sign that says "Bathroom Broken Do Not Use", maybe you shouldn't use it

No this did not happen at my work, it happened on a reality tv show where people get their vehicles towed away and have to go to a yard to get them.
Well it turns out this couple had their RV towed. They looked like they were old hippies right out of the 1970s and looked like they were on drugs too. The owner of the property they were on told them they were trespassing. Being hippies, they said something a hippie probably might say.... "This is God's country! We have a right to be here just as much as you!" No go, the RV was towed away. They told the lady working there that they had no place to go, and she told them they could stay for a little while. They had no money, so they had to wait for a friend or relative to come with money so they could get their RV.
Now comes the fun part They used the bathroom, even though there is a sign saying that it is broken and to not use. They come out of the bathroom and go up to the window where the lady is working.
Hippie: Excuse me, you need to go in there. Its a mess. There's water all over the place.
E: Why would you use it?! The sign said it was broken?!
Hippie: I don't know, but you'd better come.
She goes to check it out, but of course there is nothing she can do about it not being a plumber.
E: The sign said not to use it!
Hippie: Uhhh, well we had to go.
E: The sign is there for a reason!
Hippie: You'd better try to fix it, its a real mess in there.
    E: There's nothing I can do.
After a short while, the bathroom starts to stink the place up, and the hippies complain again. The shit hits the fan after this. The poor employee, who had not gotten any sleep in the last 24 hours and had been working 18 hours straight, buries her head in her hands. But the story has a happy ending.... She crosses her arms and with a smug look tells them they were the dumbasses that used the bathroom, now they could smell their own shit
The worst part was, they had to keep on waiting there to get their RV back. Sadly, I didn't get to see the end of the show, so I don't know how it ended, sorry. But still, seeing a sucky customer having to deal with their own shit, well that was priceless and funny. But they brought it upon themselves. The sign is there for a reason people. But we all know how some customers can't read or simply ignore the signs

Yeah, had a somewhat similar experience when I was working at a Meijers Superstore while in highschool. I had the bathroom closed because I was cleaning it when some guy ignores the sign and walks around the cleaning cart.

He got all huffy when I told him he would have to walk across to the other bathroom.

They stunk up the place because they ignored the sign and used a broken toilet...THEN complained about the smell?

Yeah, sounds like hippies. I'm sure they FELT the sign did not apply to them.

        Signs, signs, everywhere there's signs
Fuckin' up the scenery, breakin' my mind
Do this, don't do that, can't you read the sign
You'll find a slight squeeze on the hooter an excellent safety precaution, Miss Scrumptious.
