Background: I teach writing to college freshmen online. Nearly all of my students are adult-adults (25+). /BG
I just started a new class last week. As I always do, I include a variety of "helpful hints/tips/posts/info" posts throughout the classroom. I try to space them out, posting just two or three a day, so as not to overwhelm the students. I do my best to limit the posts to genuinely helpful information.
Twice now, I've had students come to me with problems. Upon hearing my solution, they exclaimed "Wow, that's a great idea, I never thought of that!"
Weird, those solutions were already posted in the classroom.
A reminder to read everything I post was, of course, not answered by either student.....
