Silly man!
DOH!
This man comes up to me after using our snack vending machine.
Man: The snack is not falling, it's just hanging there!
Me: Ok, here's another dollar for it to drop. *gives dollar*
Usually when the snack doesn't drop, another dollar will do it. But you know what the man does? He makes a DIFFERENT selection and the same thing happens!
Man: *comes back* You gotta look at this machine! It's not dropping my snack!
Me: Did you make the same selection?
Man: No....
Me: *facepalm* Why not? Did you change your mind?
Man: No, I dunnoooo...
Yes he had made another selection so now 2 of the same snacks were hanging. Trying to not to bang my head aganist the wall, I said:
Me: The dollar I gave you was so you could drop your first snack, not choose a different one.
Man: Oh...well that makes sense.
Me: *triyng not to laugh*
I went over and dropped his snack for him, and all 3 snacks dropped. He thanked me and got a soda from the vending machine, with no problems this time.
I mean really? Many times this has happened (the snack not dropping and me giving the customer a dollar) and each time, the customer has known to use the dollar given to drop the undropped snack. He probably thought that I thought he was an idiot, so he walked away red faced. I saw him later pushing on a door that said PULL. Ummm....ok.
