One _hopes_ daughter has now learned why confidentiality agreements are not to be ignored, and that Dad doesn't disown her.

And daughter is "damaged" by all this? Pa-leaze!!!

Dad's fault for not explaining to the daughter what a confidentiality agreement is, and why it must not be violated.

If he did, then daughter's the load her momma should've swallowed.

That she is. And you should see her facebook picture; all "NYA NYA NYA!!!" and acting like a 2 year old. She completely brought this on herself and I don't feel one bit of pity for the twit. And I doubt she's going to Europe now...

My laptop doesn't like Diet Sunkist, Irv.

But I do have to agree . . .girl should've kept her trap shut. If Dad doesn't disown her it would surprise me.

I'd agree with disowning her only if she was told about the confidentiality agreement.

If she wasn't it's dad's fault. A confidentiality agreement is a normal part of an out-of-court settlement, so that others won't get the idea to run to a lawyer and get offered a settlement to go away.

I read an article that said she never actually was going to Europe, which suggests that she's twice as dumb as she initially seems. She just added that because she thought it sounded good or something.

Actually if she didn't sign the confidentiality agreement herself as well, then she didn't violate the agreement her dad did when he told her.

IANAL, but _he_ signed it so he shouldn't have said anything to her in the first place. But since "they had too as her feelings were hurt" the explaination should have come with a stern warning that there's a confidentiality agreement in place so she needs to keep her trap shut!

That or her dad should have worn a condom that night.
