  • That's NOT how you try to get a job...

    Dying laughing here.

This guy applied for a job, and his resume was fudged in quite a few places. I pointed this out before the interview, and warned them that things were not right here. Several of the skills he claimed to have "tons of experience" in, the examples he showed either were full of mistakes, or...simply nonexistent.

Interview time came, he was a half hour late to it. No notice, no heads up call, nothing. Even still, we interviewed him, and he was...evasive. When asked for examples in the skills he claimed to have such vast experience with, he stated he did not have permission to show those examples. Ok, well give us a rundown on what you did for them. Nope, he wouldn't do that either.

Interview, suffice to say, went very badly, especially when he wrapped up by demanding the highest per hour rate we'd seen so far in applicants.

HR sent him a nice email thanking him for his time, but that we had selected a different applicant..... to which he promptly responded with a super nasty email claiming we wasted his time, were super rude, etc etc.

...Yeah, *we* were the rude ones here, obviously.

    Glad we dodged THAT bullet.
By popular request....I am now officially the Enemy of Normalcy.

My guess is he just needed to show he was "actively seeking employment" for his unemployment rep.

    Or he's just a moron.

That or he expected to BS his way into a high paying job where he could shove off the work onto the lesser beings. Too bad you can't call unemployment and tell them douchewad is not really looking for work. Hes looking for people to yell at and make unreasonable demands with .

No experience, expecting high pay and to have his way. Totally delusional. I see management potential right there.

Pity you couldn't have hired him, then watch him crash and burn as all his "experience" proves to be fabricated...

No, no.. the potential entertainment value is not worth dealing with an ass. The only way it's worth it is if it's another company and you still get to watch, but not have to deal with him!

Of course! Having to fire people is such a pain whereas watching them fail somewhere else is free entertainment...

Well, kinda. Hiring people, even at crap wages, can easily costs thousands in the first two months alone. So, not quite free. ^_^

I meant free for Seraph, not for the poor sucker who finds out the hard way just how "qualified" this employee really is...

Someone that deluded, who makes demands when they have no reasonable expectation they'll be met, then decides that OTHERS have it out for them, despite all evidence to the contrary... I have to wonder if they're actually a bonna-fide sociopath
