If Chuck E. Cheese is "the place where a kid can be a kid", then why the #*$&#^!@ can't adults act like adults?

I'm not sure if I ever posted this here, but I once had my 3/4 year old child act more mature than an adult. I was helping her play skeeball and the lady beside us started bitching my child out when we started to walk off with our tickets (keep in mind, we're talking maybe a dozen to two dozen). She started to screech at me, while I tried to calmly (at first) explain that "Ma'am, those belong to us. Your tickets are on the left". I even went so far as to blow a token proving it... but logic never works on folks who cannot see past their own inner demons. In the end I gave up and said "Fine. [Child] give this lady your tickets." And she did me proud and just pitched them at her feet. Who the hell does this crap as an adult?? And I'm not talking 20's, 30's, I'm talking going on Grandma age.
