Last week MIL's partner mentioned that MIL's birthday was coming up nex month. So I approached DBF and was like "you know your mother's bday is coming up right?"
Cue deer in headlights look.
"Ok. I got you covered."
I had something in mind. I have an associate who does sea glass jewelry and sells it on etsy. She had some earrings in MIL's favorite color, so I ordered them with the request they be in a box as they were going to be a gift.
3 days later they arrived. Box and all.
Now the earrings are hiding in our suitcase in the closet. I just have to wrap it.
I can't help it I like to give myself plenty of time to get presents.
