Woman attacks man taking photos on the beach

This showed up in my Facebook feed and I found multiple articles on it. This lady had no concept of 'expectation of privacy!'

Guy was playing with his helicopter-video camera on a public beach, where he'd used it before. This woman got upset that he was 'taking pictures without consent' and confronted him. He turned on his cell phone camera secretly and she started grabbing at him and his equipment while on the phone with police, complaining he was taking photos. She hung up with the police and then attacked him, scratching, going for his face, grabbing his shirt, etc. He's calling for help and SHE'S telling him to stop touching her! He finally got away from her and called the police to report the assault. The police arrived and SHE said he assaulted her! His video saved him though and she was arrested for assault and breech of peace; the police said he did nothing wrong.

Is this lady a few noodles short of a past salad or what!?

As someone who's line of work frequently brings me in contact with the likes of her, I'm glad she got arrested. Lying about being assaulted is a disservice to everyone who has actually BEEN assaulted, and, if the guy hadn't taped it, there's a good chance he'd have been asked to leave under suspicion of being a perv, which would only encourage crazy-lady to keep on doing it to the next poor guy who does something she doesn't like....

Truly what's sad? The almost requirement to have some means to video yourself and surroundings at almost any moment in time. Because they both would have walked away scratched up, since he's a dude and she's not, it's unlikely that the cops would have believe his side of the story. The fact that crazy lady attempted this and pulled the crap that she did speaks highly to the fact that she's gone bat shit nuts at some other time and got away with it. That's just depressing.

the other thing that is funny, she got a lesser charge than he would have gotten. Book her on 1st degree assault. None of this 3rd degree crap. She knew what she was doing. And add filing a false report and claim to her charges.
