  • Uh oh. Crap

So I recently moved out of a condo area that I was living in for over a year

There were a lot a stray kitties, so in addition to my own, I helped take care of a few

I was really attached to one, but she wasn't fixed (I had no finances and she was neighborhood kitty...all of us are at fault)

Towards the end of me leaving, I knew she was preggers and about to pop.
My neighbor took care of her

Neighbor called me asking if I wanted her. Hell yeah, we can get her fixed at my dad's and raise her outside. Dad loves cats too.

I see her, and notice a lack of weight.

Feel her teats, they seem slightly flatter and harder.

She has a bloody discharge coming out.

...So..this could mean ONE thing; She already gave birth. And we just put a distance of over two miles between her and newborn kitties...in an area...surrounded by ferals.

Tried calling neighbor, no go. Crap Crap Crap

No chance she could still preggers? I don't mind her giving birth in my house. I went through it before (with first kitty)

Edit: She seems to be nesting still, but her body changes concern me

Gave birth, most likely. Does her abdomen feel kinda flabby? Queens will continue to nest after giving birth if they can't get to their kittens. Sometimes they'll meow a lot, sometimes not.

It's possible the kittens didn't survive, for a number of reasons. And, if she felt they were in danger, well...sorry to say, she could have disposed of them herself.

Can you get her to a vet? A vet would be able to tell you for sure if she's no longer pregnant.
When you start at zero, everything's progress.

No longer pregnant is confirmed. We tried taking her back to old place in a cat carrier and started poking around known kitty hiding spots humans cant easily access
She was alert, but wouldn't move unless to hide for her own spot. Getting her out was A BITCH. XD

She isn't meowing so much though. Quiet girl
I feel bad about the kittens though...but...at the same time, I'm glad she is safe with me. My dad took a liking to her. Wants to keep her

For what little it's worth; at least you've saved her; and have/will prevented her from having more stray/feral kittens in the future.

The kittens might not have survived, which could explain why she's quiet about it. I'm glad she's going to have a home with your dad.

Yeah, she definitely is dad's cat. Follows him everywhere. My Guinness hates her though and refuses to let her in my room.

Sounds like you're getting your pet varieties mixed up. Since she's a cat, wouldn't it be more appropriate to say that getting her out was A QUEEN?

Well, I did call her Queen B...:P
She knows she is one too.

Guinness could outdo her though. Spoiled rotten kitty
