    And there goes my wallet.

    Steam Summer Sale has begun.

(of course, all game sites are blocked at work, so I'll look/drool/buy when I get home.)

    Me: Oh dear
DaDairyDruid: Oh dear? What oh dear?
Me: The Steam Summer Sale has started.
DaDairyDruid: Oh dear...how much is Portal 2?

    Random conversation:
Me: Okay..so I think I get why Zoro wears a bandana
    DDD: Cuz it's cool

So, by using the Doctor's reasoning, bow ties, fezzes and bandanas are cool.

And Valve draws first blood on me. Anno 2070 Complete. I'm a sucker for city sims.

So far all they've got off me is the Pac-Man Championship Edition DX+ DLC. Got a free copy of Don't Starve during the LRR stream last night though.

There is a few items on my list that are on promo with a possibility of being further discounted later though.

                Probably not a bad idea...

My wallet is likely safe from the worst of it since I don't play a whole lot of computer games anymore. Now, if ProFantasy Software did this kind of Summer sale, I'd be in real trouble...

LL - The only reason I'm on the fence about PacMan DX is because I already own both the 360 (which is in a box) and PS3 (which is broken) versions >_> If it's as cheap as I suspect, I may snag it anyway.

My question is this: Did they raise the speed cap on it (lv40? or 50? is the cap on the console editions), or come up with some option that lets you remove it? I want more of a challenge Yes, I am one of those players for whom the "Speed-Up Kit" was invented. My best play session ever -- over a decade ago -- was on Ms Pac-Man with a FAST speedup kit, equivalent to DX on about speed level 30-35 (speed level 10-15 or so is normal pacman starting speed, iirc). I made it 45 minutes on one life...until my friend who was watching asked "Uhm, Eric...At what point do they stop turning blue?"

I made the mistake of looking at the steam store during one of their sales once.

                    Once.

I squee'd like a fangirl when I saw that Rise of Nations was on Steam. It's not on sale though

My partner gave me a virtual Gibbs-slap for MENTIONING the sale. (We're moving in together tomorrow)

Oops! A friend of mine posted a pic on Twitter a couple hours ago. Seems someone over at Valve typoed on a couple of games...

Wonder how many people got some of their sale spending back from Gabe...
