You know how most vacations are planned? Yeah, well, this one evolved, and just kept growing. And that is why I am now about to embark on the first stage of a nine-day three-city Florida vacation. Or as I've taken to calling it the last couple days, an away-stay-awaycation. Confused? Read on:
Stage One: Today I fly off to Orlando to visit with my niece, the Wiccan Princess, and her boyfriend, where we will drink beer and rum, eat food, ride theme park rides, go to a Space Center, and generally be silly and stupid, and have stupid amounts of fun.
Stage Two: On Wednesday, I fly back to Key West where I will get to play tourist and do fuck all for a couple days, and then attend my friends' wedding on Friday.
Stage Three: On Saturday I will drive up to Miami to visit with some friends and attend a couple of baseball games, as my Arizona Diamondbacks will be in town agains the Miami Marlins. My plan is to buy the cheapass general admission ticket, cut at the kickass centerfield concourse bar, drink beer, and watch baseball. Saturday 7:00 pm game, Sunday 1:00 pm game. Then I return to "reality" here in Key West and return to work on Monday the 18th.
And awaaaaaaay we go!
