  • Greetings!

Hello there! I am new to your wonderful forum but it looks like a good place to hang and vent about my job. I currently work the graveyard shift at a seafood processing facility. My job is mostly sanitation. Hoping this will be a safe place to discuss work related things.

to ! Glad ya found us ^_^

Hanging out and venting is what we're here for, and we're always happy to lend an ear.

As for safety/anyonymity -- We always advise doing just that (see Rule 6) -- stay anonymous. We encourage describing wherever you happen to work in as vaguely as possible, and nobody will ever ask you what your obfuscating terms mean (if they're wise ). You can use the real name of your place if you like -- that's your right -- but we don't recommend it.

And hey, if there are any issues, please Report the problematic post (the ! at the top right -- you can even report your own posts if you just have a question!) or PM a mod. Both are anonymous (meaning, only the mods will know who made the report), and only the mod team will even know that a given post has been reported.

Thank you so much! Hopefully I won't be so specific that someone from work can identify me.

I don't really have "customers" at my job, but I have plenty of experiences with co-workers and management so I hope I'll be able to contribute to the community.

      Thank you again!
