    We have cool friends.

    My boyfriend got his birthday present from the friends we game with last night. They made, as in fabricated from assorted materials, a Warhammer Quest set for him. Board pieces, doors, assorted tokens, cards, bound printouts of various books and lots and lots and lots of loot tables. Also included was a box of assorted gaming miniatures.

    It looks absolutely, incredibly awesome. Boyfriend's night was just totally made. I only wish I'd thought of it first.

      I'll post some pics of it as soon as I get the board pieces sealed, they ran out of time before they quite got to that point. I'm planning on using a glossy clear spray paint to finish them.

      I love how they set up joining the pieces together, there are little velcro loop tabs on the back of each piece in each location you can have a door, and the plastic bases for the doors are set up with little tabs of the hook side. No fighting to get the board pieces into little slots on the side of the door bases!

        I second the request for pictures. I also have Warhammer Quest and would like to see what they did. Too bad the game is discontinued.

          Here are the tokens, doors and corridor and t-junction tiles. I still have lots of tiles to get sealed, probably get them done tomorrow.
