Do you know this restaurant or have I been eating too much cheese?

I am sure I remember reading about a restaurant chain where the gimmick was that the staff were incredibly rude to the customers.I'm sure I remember a review where the family's son had been given a hat with something obscene written on it and their preteen daughter had been told they weren't serving her until she was wearing a proper bra and they would check to make sure.
A search of the Internet hasn't provided anything-any ideas?or is my fevered imagination conjuring up mystery restaurants?

I've been to this restaurant but it's been a number of years since I last went there, I ought to go back there.

Years ago, when my parents briefly retired to San Diego (for a whole year, as it turned out), my little sister and I went out to visit them for Christmas, and Lil Sis one night at Dick's Last Resort. They were obnoxious, yes, but not nearly as rude as I'd hoped. I'll have to go there again one day.

Not a chain but Durgan Park was known for surly waitresses.

When you mentioned "eating too much cheese" in the title, I thought of two possibilities. One was a comic strip that a prof in the chem department had posted a number of on his office door (from reading the article, it was probably from the 1973 reprint), and the other was the fictional Lurien spring cheese - are you short with hairy feet?
