  • For the umpteenth time!

oh and ARRRRGHHHH!!! Okay for background part of my job (herding cats) involves getting my main cats reimbursed for certain things including a luncheon for one of their specific groups. Well awhile back they changed over to a special reimbursement program for special expenses, lets call it migraine. So babyface cat hosted a luncheon for his group. This took place during holiday season so this occurred at the end of 2013 and was entered in the beginning of 2014. Now everyone please check their calendars and note the month we are in...... It took about 6 months for babyface to approve the entry on his end. That is the stupidest part of the new program the host has to approve it rather than just the person entering it (you know the one who the cats hand off everything to because they are too busy to be bothered). Anyway long story short back and forth starting at the BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR and still they wont just pay the thing. I just got what has to be at least the fifth person/time email asking why was this entered a year later? IT WASN'T. It was approved late and now is a whole other year later because you keep asking me the same freaking question! I replied and attached alllllll the previous correspondence. Being rational and logical just gets one a headache around here. Hence the reason we call this system migraine. Thank you I feel slightly better now.

jeez, I'd be loading a precision f strike for them if it took this long to get the money back like that for something. Sounds like it's time to tell everyone to stop paying out of pocket for things because they obviously can't be bothered to pay them back.

Me: I expect competence from my coworkers.

I've tried to to no avail to get my cats to plan ahead so things can actually be prepaid etc. I may as well be talking to actual cats.
