So we have a new 'system' for the sale tags. Just when I was getting used to (and liking) not separating them from the large sheets. Now they come in "Stackz" with no backing paper (think piles of sticky notes). I do find this easier in the sense that it saves a bit of time not dealing with backing paper and trash. There is a plastic board that is to be used for organizing the tags...that only really works if you have use of a table (I don't use one as it slows me down and is also bulky and hard to maneuver). The good news: I did manage to finish nearly all of the grocery tags (the non-planogrammed and duplicate gas tags are still on sheets so I can save those until the end, easier to glance at it and know what's already up).
I was now told that I'm also putting up vendor tags. Which is what all the other stores do, but all the other stores have 2-3 people doing tags at night. Here it's just me (one of the day shift leads helps me most weeks) and anyone during the day who isn't doing other shit. B knows this is bullshit and we just do what we can do (I'm thinking someone figured "hey, with this new system they'll have time to do ALL the tags"). One vendor's stuff is all on the bottom shelf and kills my back -_-
I'm just doing what I do; get the general grocery tags up first and if I have time doing the vendors later; vendor tags will be easier for day people to do as it's only 2-3 brands.
