Well, a lot's happened since last I was on. We had a change in management. A new Trade boss!

No, my boss at front end hated me with a passion, because I tend to get very sarcastic under pressure. New boss, however, decided he wanted more of that at his end of the store, as Tradies can get really intimidating, and he wanted someone not prone to freaking out about grown men throwing three year old wobblers (tantrum, you know, like the little leg wobbling movement angry little kids do) all over the place. So, I asked to work for him instead. He said yes, all good.

Except no. Front End Boss'd rather die than see me happy somewhere else. She makes moves to block it.
Trade boss is having non of that nonsense. He wipes me off her roster, and puts me entirely on his roster, starting in July (this started happening in June). He tells her NOTHING, but does clear it with upper management as though she said yes.

She only found out about it right before my appraisal (which ended up being really funny, will post about that later), a week before my Trade switchover started.

So now, I have a great new boss who's really supportive and thinks I'm funny.
Has an incident where I was in the carpark, smoking, wearing a beanie. I had words with an angry customer out there. I got back in, and had to go talk to Trade Boss.

Him: "Sooo.... A customer just called me...apparently he called you a scruffy hippy in the carpark, and he said you were very rude to him?"
Me: "Yes?" *wondering how much trouble I'm in*
Him: "And what was it you said back to him?"
Mee: "Stop harshing my mellow man..."
Him: *Laughs ass off, tells me he just wanted to confirm what I said so he could go tell his wife.*

Starting to think things could be looking up guys!

    Congratulations on the transfer.

Those type of "shotgun" affairs are rarely fun, but at least your new boss was able to minimize the battle.

Now I am curious about that appraisal.
I might be crazy, but I'm not Insane.

What? You don't play with flamethrowers on the weekends? You are strange.
