So, I got a call from one of our sales teams. The customer was calling in to complain and they wanted to know why the tech had refused to do the work. The conversation went something like this...
Me: ... *reads all the tech notes with a raised eyebrow* Well, I have no idea how you're going to put this to the customer but we are definitely not sending another tech out today.
Them: But why? We arranged this appointment weeks ago!
Me: It's not a lack of techs. The tech DID go out and talked to the customer. He refused the job because they need to clean up the dog crap and hit the place with a few roach bombs first.
Them: ...Are you serious?
Me: Absolutely. Our techs will not work in unsanitary conditions. And he told them this so if they're calling you and playing innocent, well, that's not going to fly around here.
Them: Ugh. I'll try to explain that.
Me: Good luck.
