So I was awaken this morning (at 8:30 am hey i don't have class on Friday and all the classes I do have are all afternoon classes) by a text from my mom asking if everything was alright and if classes where canceled.
I was confused and disorientated so I called her back (forgetting she would have a class at the moment) asking in my half asleep daze 'What do you mean?'
She laughs tells her students that i am asleep and clueless and ducks out to tell me that apparently someone got shot last night on campus and she just wanted to know if there was any undo chaos, since she realized it would've happened after i was asleep and it was on the north part of campus and i'm in the very southern tip.
So i say ill look it up when i wake up all the way. I fall back into semi-coma, wake up an hour later and look it up.
It bothers me that people are calling it a 'School Shooting' when its really 'A bunch of stupid drunk 18 year old frat guys who got into a fight and one got extra stupid and extra mad and shot people'. seriously this could have happened outside a bar. It was an idiot with an gun he couldn't legal own who got drunk and went back and got his gun from his car and shot 4 of the people he was fighting with.
Its not a 'School Shooting' its a 'Shooting that happened to happen on School campus'.
