  • Customer Bingo!

In order to make the time dealing with idiots during the festive period more enjoyable, my place of work currently have a game of "customer bingo" in full swing.
The rules are simple, we printed a bingo card of 5 x 5 squares, each square with a classic SC comment / request ie customer complains about opening hours/ customer steps over the red line & tries to come behind the counter/ customer asks for more discount. Every time one happens to you, you get to cross that square off & the first one to complete their bingo card wins a prize (chocolate or alcohol!)
It's made it so much easier to deal with SC's as all the time they're whinging all I can think about is "you're crossing off my bingo card boxes nicely thank you!"

This requires a reference to the Retail comic strip Bingo.

I love this! I should try it at work. Since we now share office space with the circ dept, and they get the same twits on the phone that we do, this could be a riot!
When you start at zero, everything's progress.

Is there a bonus if one SC covers all the squares? Lol

That is just as fun as the Corp. meeting version called Buzzword Bingo

Popularized and went "viral" because of this 1994 Dilbert Strip https://www.google.com/search?q=buzz...nnVL6FqhJTs%3D

We had those cards (created by management!) during the Sears store closing. It was fun.

I should have had some printed when the TR people had us switched over to the corporate insurance package from our generally reasonable (and reasonably-priced) local package.
