My husband's new job

My husband will have a new job with our employer beginning in January.

He will be a CSR, and he will get a raise.

He will have to wear a different uniform because one of his duties will be delivering parking validations to clients requesting them.

The reason why is because the office staff uniform shirt is a solid color, and the uniform shift for the porter's is a striped shirt. Earlier this month a particular customer needed parking validations delivered, and the person calling the garage office told the employee who answered the phone that the company did not want anyone wearing the striped uniform shirt delivering the validations. So an office employee had to do that.

WTF? They don't want anyone wearing the "blue collar" uniform bringing their validations to the office? When they take their car in for service, do they insist that nobody with grease under their fingernails touch it? I guess that means that the technicians are out, and one of the office staff needs to do the work.
