This one made me mad. I asked this guy for his ID and of course he whips out his driver's license. Now, I didn't really understand what his point was:

SC: Check out my smile. (And goes on for a few about his license pic and what he is wearing now)

Me: Yeah, you sure took a good picture...

I wasn't really listening because I was just trying to get the money together to pay him. After I pay him though he opens his wallet and flashes me this pic:

A picture of him and his wife NAKED!

I don't care if this man was fit or young. Which he was neither. I think it was downright inappropriate and disgusting that he would flash the picture like that at me. I felt dirty. I was absolutely mortified.

He thought it was funny as hell. I saw his woman's huge breasts and his nasty beer gut that luckily hid other things... But how gross can you be!? He left shortly after. He probably noted that I was too stunned to scream.

I told a co-worker about it later but I didn't tell a supervisor or anything. To me that was sexual harrassment. But as the rules go: I didn't tell him no (I was too stunned) and the "customer is always right." Which I truly hate that saying. I don't understand why he would do this to me.

When I worked at Circuit City, a co-worker was showing a scanner to a customer. The floor model was a open box unit (which meant someone had previously returned it), and when he lifted the lid there was what appeared to be a photo from Playgirl or some other male-oriented adult publication.

Now unexpectedly seeing a giant wang photo would have thrown me off my sales game, but my co-worker managed to grab the offending material in the same motion one would make when gesturing toward a device you were showing someone. I don't think the customer ever saw it. I however did, and as soon as the customer was out of the department I about peed my pants in laughter.

      Hurk. ><

Definitely sexual harassment. Shame you were stunned, you could have deflated him with a comment about his....how do you say? Serving size?

Thats what I'd have done, but I'm a bastard and so desensitized to the scum of humanity that I'm immune to the Stun status effect.

I'd like to think if that happened to me, I'd keep my wits about me enough to make a comment about the "shed" obscuring his "tool".

and the "customer is always right." .
Actually, that's a common misconception. Statistically, the customer is almost always wrong.

Now, I'm no expert, but if his uh, thingy was too microscopic to be seen under his gut then I don't see what he had to smile about.

Sounds like he's what we refer to around here as a Dinkydoo.

His gut sticks out more than his dinky do!!

Here, I'll share. Some for everyone!!

The only words you said that I understood were "His", "Phone" and "Ya'll". The other 2 paragraphs worth was about as intelligible as a drunken Teletubby barkin' come on's at a Hooter's waitress.

Definite sexual harrassment. Indecent exposure on paper? I wonder what could have happened had you reported it?

If he flashed the picture intentionally, you could have the cops escort him off to the slammer in most places.

So isn't this the part where all the guys ask if the wife was hot.....

It's nice that him and his woman have a good sex life, but I don't think the world needs to know....

I bet that would count as exhibitionism and you could have had him arrested.

He wanted to shock you. That is why he did it. It made him feel power over you.

The best response would have been to stifle a laugh or to start giggling and look over at his crotch, then crack up. That is how to mortify a man without saying a word. You might also have added, "Well I certainly wouldn't want to advertise MY short comings," or, "Gee, I guess you could just claim the room was VERY cold."

And just think about how he could not have complained about what you did without showing your supervisor what he flashed you?

I'd have asked, "Which one is you?"

I had a guy tell me to look at this on his cell phone to look at his girlfriend. I made the mistake of doing so, to proceed to see a MOVIE (a split second, but it was a vid non the less) Of his girlfriend. Doing something to him. With her mouth.

We had a customer come in to Circuit City once, completely livid over her purchase of a digital camera. It was an open box item, and it seems that the person who bought it decided to take some rather revealing photos of himself and his girlfriend/wife/whatever. We got read the riot act over that one, too. The customer service girls were supposed to clear the memory on cameras as soon as they printed the return label. The sales rep who put the item back on display was supposed to check to make sure the memory was cleared before putting it out, as was the department manager who created the tag and marked it. The associate who sold it to the customer was also supposed to have checked it before putting it in the customer's possession. The store manager ran around doing her rabid wiener dog impression the next morning. The company should have known this would happen when they took away our well-enjoyed commission and started paying us $7 an hour.
